Funding and fees info for Water Resources Science Graduate Students

Graduate students in the Water Resources Science (WRS) Graduate Program may receive funding through fellowships or assistantships offered by their home departments, where their administrative appointment is housed. Occasionally, students may receive fellowships from the college, program, or an outside agency.

Please note that even with funding, students are typically responsible for paying student fees. Additional fees may apply for international students.

For up-to-date detailed information about tuition and fees, please visit the One Stop Student Services website.

The standard assistantship pay rate in the WRS program for the 2024–2025 academic year is $27.00 per hour for both M.S. and Ph.D. students. However, rates typically vary by department. For your specific hourly rate, please consult your home department’s website or contact your departmental administrator. A student’s home department is typically determined by the appointment of their adviser.
