Ronnie is with the Geophysical Institute University of Alaska Fairbanks. He enjoys vadose zone research in cold climates with the permafrost Laboratory in Alaska. Ronnie has a broad interest in snow, freezing, ecology, hydrology and permafrost. He applies a mix of field observation and modeling predictions to assess permafrost conditions and the fate of carbon in cold climates.
