Abstract

Betsy Swanner is an aqueous geochemist and geomicrobiologist, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences at Iowa State University. Her research is focused on understanding the impact of iron-rich aquatic conditions on microbially-driven and globally important biogeochemical processes. She currently has several research projects in a handful of Minnesota’s wonderful lakes.
