Student Ambassadors

The Water Resources Science student ambassadors are current students within the program who have agreed to answer questions from prospective students regarding campus life, student involvement, and general questions about the WRS program. If you have more complex questions about program requirements or admissions, please contact

Anna Baker

Anna Baker, WRS Graduate Student

Twin Cities Ambassador

Anna Baker, an M.S. student in WRS co-advised by Dr. Jacques Finlay (UMN-TC) and Dr. Karen Gran (UMD), is enthusiastic about interdisciplinary research and cross-campus collaboration.

Anna is an active member of WRSIA. She is a Midwest native who spent several years working as a Hydrologist on the East Coast before returning to the area for graduate school. She would be happy to answer questions about life in the Twin Cities and the WRS program.
