The University of Minnesota Water Resources Center (WRC) administers the WRS Graduate Program. The Water Resources Center is affiliated with the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences and University of Minnesota Extension.

Students must receive training in ethics and responsible conduct of research.

Water Resources Students In Action (WRSIA)

There is an active student group that applies their knowledge of water resources for a variety of long and short term service projects. They also sponsor journal club discussions, host activities, and provide representation on the Council of Graduate Students and WRS administrative committees.
