Job Description:
Kevin is part of the new North Biological Monitoring Unit housed at the Brainerd Regional MPCA office. The unit is funded through the State's new Clean Water Legacy Act. The group will be systematically monitoring streams/rivers in the northern half of the state's 86 major watersheds. Any streams which are determined to be impaired will be put on the state's impaired waters list and TMDL plans will be developed by others for these streams. The group will also perform restoration monitoring once TMDL plans have been implemented.
