Gretchen is with the Department of Natural Resources at the University of New Hampshire working on the biogeochemistry of nitrogen and DOC in aquatic ecosystems. She received her Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2006 in Biogeochemistry and Environmental Change from the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
